Magic Line 8x8

Magic Line 8x8 is my third artwork ended 1/1/2011.

Math description of the artwork:
This magic line is made starting by a special magic square.
This is so elegant! I started at number 1 on the fourth square in 2nd line down, and just followed the numbers through according to your line. And yes, every line adds up to 260 in each direction and across the diagonals too. I like this very much indeed.

Magic Numbers (magia dei numeri) is my first artwork 2008.

Math description of the artwork:
I use the method to design a spiral using Fibonacci number (Fibonacci spiral)

Inside every square I have introduced magic squares: 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 8x8.
These magic squares are special magic squares used also in Western Occult Tradition.
Each planet has been associated with a magic squares.

3x3 is the Saturn magic square.


4x4 is the Jupiter magic square.


5x5 is the Mars magic square.


6x6 is the Sun magic square.


7x7 is the Venus magic square.


8x8 is the Mercury magic square.
